Eunice McMichael personality type is ESFP, apparently. Even though I’m an ENFP, I have a distinct preference for Eunice’s sunny, flirty, good-hearted, good-natured nature. Fannie Flagg is a beloved author who has written a dozen novels and dozens of short stories over the course of her career. Her writing is best known for its richly detailed descriptions of small town Southern life in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, and her characters are often eccentric. Her books are regarded as classics of American literature, and she has won numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction in 1987 for Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe.
I picked up her memoir when it came out in 2008, and I was intrigued by her life story. She was born in Atlanta in 1925 to parents who were both teachers. She remembers growing up in the South in the 1930s with no electricity, no indoor plumbing, no running water, and no public transit options.
