Baitong Zhou (Hànzì: 周白通, Pinyin: Zhōu Báitōng, On'yomi: Shū Hakutsū) is a character in Shenmue III. He appears only in the Catch the Skipper! sidequest. Jialing Ma calls him a "skipper", since he was a guest at Hotel Niawu but left without paying for the rent. When Ryo Hazuki asks to go with him back to the hotel, he states he's a free man who refuses the rules of society, then he challenges Ryo to a fight. Once Ryo defeats him, he states he'll pay this time, but won't repent.
