Initially serving as the muscle for Dr. Alexander Isaacs, Wesker became instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the company during the global T-virus pandemic, in which he ran as Chairman on behalf of the cryogenically-preserved leadership. Wesker infected himself with the T-virus around four years into the pandemic, following a threat to his life by Alice - another mutant. These mutations served him well, though he was bested in The Hive when the Red Queen security system seriously wounded him. Though this was not a fatal injury, he was killed soon after in a powerful explosion he could no longer prevent.
