Simon Says personality type is ISTJ, and he would have a lot of trouble with it. We know from his other posts that he is very good at taking responsibility for his own actions, which is a key aspect of being an ISTJ. For instance, he's really good at taking ownership for his role in things going wrong, and he's very clear about what he is responsible for, and what he isn't. He also really enjoys taking care of himself and having healthy habits, which is another key aspect of being an ISTJ.
On the whole, I feel like this is the most accurate description of his personality types that I've heard. It's probably the best one I've heard in a while.
So I think that this whole thing is blown way out of proportion. Sure, it's not an ideal situation. But I don't see why it's an indicator of him being a 'pathological liar' or anything like that.
I think that the way to address this is to first acknowledge that there was some validity to the concerns, and then to address them in a reasonable way.
