The young man – who has been living in the UK for four years – said he has been able to make many positive changes in himself through the journey of coming out.
“I have learned so much about myself and myself as a person, and I feel more confident about myself. It’s been a positive change, especially when it comes to my social life and being out and about,” he added.
While coming out to his family has been difficult, the teenager has become more open with friends, and is trying to lead a more open life.
