What is the personality type of Japanese Minimalism? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Japanese Minimalism from Visual Art Genres and what is the personality traits.
Japanese Minimalism personality type is INFJ, not INTJ.
This is of course a simple and trivial error. The reason for it is fairly obvious: the personality type system of Myers-Briggs (MBTI) was originally developed by a team of psychologists led by Katherine Briggs, one of the founders of psychometric testing. Her team initially developed a “mother-daughter” version of the test and later expanded it to include father-daughter and mother-son combinations. This was done as a way of making the test more gender neutral in order to increase the test’s practical value in the workplace. Therefore, INTJ is an MBTI “type” that corresponds to mothers, while INFJ is an MBTI type that corresponds to daughters.
This is why INTJ and INFJ are usually considered to be the same type. People who score high on both tests are usually assumed to be of the same temperament. This is also how Myers-Briggs personality tests are used in corporations to help managers identify the best people for various positions.
INTJ vs INTP
Another source of confusion is the fact that INFJ and INTP are often considered to be the same type.
