Just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it wrong. When you’re a Wikipedia editor, you have to do what needs to be done. You can’t take a stance on every single article that comes across your desk. There are people who do that and are constantly fighting over every single little thing, and I think that’s kind of sad.
I doubt that Mr. Torvalds actually wishes for his Wikipedia article to be deleted. He knows the truth behind his nature and personality, and he knows that there are people out there who will come after him, and are willing to do whatever it takes to stop him from having the last laugh.
That’s why he said those things about people who’ve been dead for years being able to get their articles deleted by other editors and his “dislike” of censorship.
