Biophysics personality type is INTJ, and the average US citizen is an INTP.

The world’s most famous psychometrician, Isabel Briggs Myers, invented the MBTI in the 1940s. The study of personality types was pioneered by Carl Jung, who described the four personality traits: introversion, extraversion, intuition, and thinking, which would eventually be categorized as the four Jungian functions: Thinking (T), Feeling (F), Sensing (S), and Intuition (N).

The MBTI, and its derivative the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, is a tool for analyzing and understanding a person’s personality type. It is a tool for understanding how our personalities work and how we act, so that we can work together to make our organizations more effective.

The Myers-Briggs Type Instrument (MBTI) measures four personality dimensions:

Introversion vs. Extraversion Sensing vs. Intuition Thinking vs. Feeling

Introverts seek more time alone to process information and make decisions. Extraverts tend to be more social and seek out people with whom they can share their ideas. Introverts tend to be more solitary, focusing on their own thoughts and feelings.

Biophysics is an interdisciplinary science that applies approaches and methods traditionally used in physics to study biological phenomena. Biophysics covers all scales of biological organization, from molecular to organismic and populations.
