Lino Brocka is The Legendary Filipino Film Director. Born April 3, 1939, he was raised and grew up in a poor family. Still, he didn't give up, and got into University, where he studied Pre-Law, and dropped out afterwards to pursue Literature. He was fond of American Cinema, wherein he learned to imitate the accent. He left the Philippines in order to fly to America, but came back after realizing he still had an unfinished purpose, which was to pursue his dreams of Film Making. Among his best films were 'Manila in The Claws of Light'. Truly a Legend, bless his soul.
