Yang Chan Mi personality type is ENTP, so there is no way I can describe her accurately with just one word. Mr. Yang has said that I have a very strong character and that I’m very expressive. I use the English word “strong” a lot, but it’s not strong. I’m not strong. I’m just very expressive. Because I was young and I grew up in America, I tend to be very loud and very expressive. So when I watch some of the other contestants on the show, and they try to be quiet, I really get upset. That’s how I feel about it.
Since you were an American Idol contestant, you must be very close to your mom and dad.
I definitely am. As we’ve said before, they are the most supportive parents in the world. They are always there for me, and they are very understanding, and they love me so much. [Laughs] My dad is probably the most supportive parent I’ve ever had, because he has a tough time understanding me sometimes. He thinks that I’m not taking things seriously, even though I do take them seriously.
