Johnny Abarrientos (born July 17, 1970) is a Filipino retired professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). In 1993, he started playing for the Alaska Milkmen, which he is most remembered by in his career, and there became known as The Flying A. Abarrientos was also a many-time member of the Philippine National team, and was the 1996 PBA Most Valuable Player, the same year he won the Grandslam of highest prestige with the Milkmen, becoming the shortest player to win the league's highest individual award. He is currently an assistant coach for the Magnolia Hotshots, and the Head Coach for the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), for whom he played his amateur career for during college. His jersey number 14 is retired by both the FEU Tamaraws and the Alaska Aces (present name).
