This character is based on a roleplay character - he was made by a friend of mine who is also an ISFJ, and there are aspects of my husband’s personality in him (he shares a lot of the same preferences, likes, dislikes etc.). The character’s name is Sam.
Briefly, Sam’s Fi is pretty good, but he has problems with it. He has a good, if not great, understanding of himself, and a good grasp of his own weaknesses, but he lacks self-confidence and self-knowledge. He takes things for granted too often and focuses on external factors that don’t really affect him. He has trouble focusing his attention on himself, and doesn’t know how to identify what’s important or not important. This means that he has trouble creating a clear picture of himself and his goals in life.
Sam is very loyal to those he cares about, but he tends to be too much of a doormat. He puts others’ needs before his own too often and puts others before himself.
