In the anime series, the Glaceon evolves into the Glaceon-EX or the Glaceon-EX: Crystal Freeze, which are Crystal Pokémon. They have Water-type moves and have the ability Ice Body. In later generations, Glaceons will become part of a weapon called a Freeze Bolt, which freezes target Pokémon for a period of time when it is used.
