Once a magnanimous and selfless researcher, Jacques Johnson has become a cold-hearted and vexatious recluse, who bestows upon himself the false title of “Admiral” to make up for his very low self-confidence. Highly intelligent, educated, and perceptive, he once involved himself in a project that involved the creation of a highly-powerful superweapon - all contained within a phial. Although he regrets his past deeply, the only way he feels he can be free of his pain is to take the phial back and do the unthinkable - release its contents so the rest of the world can endure the sorrow he does every single day.
