A middle aged man who presents himself as a scientist on a mission to attain the Philosopher’s Stone and find the truth of this world. He travels alone in a modified car called Paragon. Rex is an eccentric outcast, albeit appearing stylish and well-groomed. He has strange obsessions with astronomy, minerals, and certain exotic animals. Describing himself as possessing a mind of a scientific genius and the looks of a greek hero, he has esoteric inclinations as well, namely divination and magic. Despite his usual unemotional tone, he seems to be moved by natural beauty and wishes to experience the -in his words- „highest high”, finding the perfect gem. No one really knows where he came from, some refer to him as a traveler or even a ghost.
