His mother is dead, and he lives with his father and two younger sisters. He enjoys cooking and has a very good sense of taste. His relationship with his father is strained, as his father is often angry at him for his actions, but also thankful for his efforts. He doesn't like to be called "Shōsuke-chan" (Shōsuke-chan is an informal family name), so instead, he calls himself "Shōsuke" (Shōsuke-kun). He has a little sister who he is close to and who often gets angry at him.
He is a college student who attends the same college as his friends. His best friend is Hagino Daichi, who often gets annoyed by Shōsuke's behavior. His other friends are also ENTPs.
