This is a fairly lengthy article, but in it I try to explain not only the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality type of Erlendur’s character, but also the real life personality type of Erlendur himself. The MBTI is a much more detailed personality test that many people in the United States take. The MBTI measures the four main areas of your personality: extroverted, introverted, sensing and intuition.
These four areas are measured on a scale from 0-100. This means that a score of 80 indicates that you are highly extroverted and you have a balanced personality. A score of 60 would indicate that you are moderately extroverted and a balanced personality. And so on.
