Gil personality type is ISFP, introverted, sensing, feeling and perceiving. I always found this to be the hardest one to explain. I think the biggest reason people don't understand it is because we don't explain it well to begin with. I've taken the time to do that for you.
We're introverts so we don't like to speak a lot, we'd rather observe and internally process. We are introverts in that we want a lot of alone time. We don't like to be around a lot of people and we don't like small talk. We can't stand small talk. The other day I was talking to somebody on my phone, and they were saying 'oh well, I'll call you back.' And I was like 'NO! That's not what we talked about! I'm busy, I'm doing something right now!' Small talk is just not our thing. It's like pulling teeth to get a conversation going with an ISFP.
We are also introverts in that we are very aware of our own feelings and the feelings of others. This can make us socially inept. On the other hand, we are very logical and analytical. We can see different perspectives and see a problem from different angles.
