Irma also has a strong sense of compassion: “I don’t like to be mean to people, because I feel that we are all on the same level. But I also don’t think that you should be nice to everyone.”
Irma didn’t want to leave her previous job as a secretary because she said she missed the people. She knew she would have to be patient while she found something new.
“I never knew how hard it would be,” she said of finding a new job. “It took me a long time to get used to it.”
Irma was hired at Harvard Store in September 2015 and says she loves the work there.
