I'd like to point out that this is really not a case of "female characters aren't allowed to be strong", because we have many female characters who can be strong and oftentimes are, but this is a case of female characters being restricted from being strong. I find it kind of curious that the strongest girl in the show is an introvert.
I understand why you would think that, but I'm going to take issue with that. She's not the "strongest character" in the series. Sure, she may be the only one who could beat Baskerville, but she didn't have to. If she had just been able to let her emotions slip a bit and talk to her friends from the start, then Baskerville would have never won.
She's not the "strongest character" in the series! That's ridiculous! I'm sorry, but the strongest characters in this show are Killua, Gon (well, he's still fighting his way back, but he is still stronger than her), Leorio, Kurapika, and Hisoka.
