So how rare is Shitou Zen?
That’s a good question, and I wanted to see if there was any data on it.
I started by finding as many papers, papers, papers on the subject as I could. It turned out that there are quite a few, and nearly all of them were written in Japanese (neatly explaining the Japanese name for this type of personality). First I tried going to Google and grabbing these papers, but Google failed me.
It turns out that Google Translate can only translate from one language to another, not from one language to a second language (in this case Japanese to English). So I had to resort to the wonderful world of DuckDuckGo, where I could find straight translations of all those papers.
I ended up with 12 papers, most of them summarizing the research done on INTJs and Shitou Zen.
