In spite of his seemingly constant need to dominate conversations, Glen manages to be one of the most self-effacing people I know. It’s hard to believe that his interests range from a passion for the occult to a fascination with particle physics, but he’s so modest about his accomplishments that it rarely seems to register with others. And, as you’ll see, he goes out of his way to make sure that everyone else feels like they are as much of an important part of our conversation as he is. It’s not easy to make people feel that way about yourself, but he does it with ease.
It’s nearly impossible to pin down the precise moment in which Glen discovered his love for science, but I think he’d say it was the moment he found himself sitting on the couch watching Star Trek and suddenly had an epiphany.
