Ruimond personality type is INFP, which is why her mental illness probably grew as she was forced to distance herself from people she loved in an effort to not get hurt.
Riku is an INFP, which is why he spent all of the first half of the series trying to figure out who he was and why he felt the way he did.
Riku is an INFP, and I think that’s why he was so hurt by his disassociation from the rest of his family and why he rejected being a part of a group for the first part of the series. He’s a rarer type than many people realize, and it’s understandable that he’d be reluctant to be a part of something so informal and casual.
Also, all of the characters’ names are references to aspects of their personality: Sora, Hikari, Aqua, Ventus, and Roxas. I think it’s an interesting way to show that their personalities aren’t static or stagnant, but rather reveal themselves in different ways depending on their circumstances.
