1F personality type is ISTJ, so it’s no surprise that he’s the strongest type on the show. He’s the one who gets shit done and saves the day. He’s the guy who takes hold of a situation, gets it under control, and then starts cleaning up the mess. He’s the guy who makes the tough decisions, which is why it was so crushing that he simply turned into an asshole during the finale.
There were a few points in the episode where you could tell that he was starting to slip into his asshole persona. For example, when he and Vivian were talking about the White House being attacked, he seemed genuinely shocked:
Vivian: Did you know about this?
Jack: No, I… I didn’t have time to look. I was busy closing deals.
Vivian: I’m sure you were.
Jack: I wasn’t going to let them down.
Vivian: I’m sure you weren’t.
Jack: It was all about the deals.
Vivian: Sure.
