4V personality type is ISFJ, who, according to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, is a “sensing” personality type – the second-most common personality type, after the INTP.
ISFJs are, in the words of CMB author Judi Barrett, “warm and cooperative”, and can be extremely loyal and kind. They are also often shy and reserved and are highly dependable.
Sensitivity is defined as “the capacity to feel or sense something” and is one of the four dimensions of personality type. Sensing types have a strong sense of their immediate environment and other people’s moods, thoughts, and feelings. They are often “tuned in” to their environment, which can create a “reactionary personality” because they overreact to certain situations.
ISFJs are often described as being warm, polite, and “sober” (unflappable) and can tend to be literal or traditional with their emotions. In contrast to the more outgoing INTJ types, ISFJs prefer to keep their emotions to themselves and are not as likely to discuss their innermost feelings with others.
