I know that may sound nuts, but think about it. If you’re an Egyptian God, would you just go around shooting people with lightning bolts or creating floods? That’s not very interesting, is it? I mean, let’s face it. If you’re an Egyptian God, you would want to do something more interesting, right? You would want to lead people on with the promise of something more, but then bring them to their knees with something they didn’t even know they were looking for.
The truth about the world is that people don’t really like things like that. They expect things to be more predictable. They want to know that there’s some pattern to life that they can rely on.
