Well, my first impression of Amamiya was that he is a very powerful Superman-like character. His personality is off-the-wall, yet he's very capable of wielding his power responsibly.
I also like his design. His background is quite mysterious and intriguing, even though we don't know much about it. It's hard to tell which one he's really serious about... but at least he seems to be looking for the meaning of life in all this.
