Geras personality type is ISTJ, the “Protector.” ISTJs use their logic and practicality to create order and structure. They are, in a sense, the “Pillars of Society,” generally speaking. They help to pave the way for others and make things run smoothly. They have a great need to be needed and are generally very good at being “second in command” in their relationships.
The ISTJ personality type is one of the least likely to become addicted to drugs and alcohol, although it is possible. This is because ISOJs do not really enjoy using drugs or alcohol and will usually only use them if it is absolutely necessary. They are more likely to become addicted to video games or computers, which are more “outside” of their normal day-to-day activities.
Most ISTJs would not necessarily consider themselves “emotional” people. They may seem very “poker faced” at first, but once you get to know them, they are very warm and welcoming. They are very good at making friends, which is why they generally do so well in the workplace. ISTJs tend to be the people other people turn to when they need help or advice.
