Menoetius personality type is ESFP, and this is the point of the entire story.
The other way I think this can be interpreted is that the narrator is using a metaphor for the first person memory of the main character, and a metaphor for the main character's personality. The narrator's actual personality does not matter, because the main character is the narrator. The narrator is a mix between the two characters. The two characters are themselves a mix between the two people who are narrating the story. The difference between them is that the original character never had to deal with the emotions they have to deal with, while the other character has to deal with them.
The metaphor here is between the emotions of the narrator, and the emotions of the main character. This is also why on page 12 we have "I was just an ordinary girl", because that is what she is before she sees the future, and that is what she is after she sees it.
The emotions of the narrator are in the form of dreams. Dreams are dreams, and are temporary. This is why it says "I had been dreaming", because it was only a dream, and only lasted for a few seconds.
The main character doesn't experience dreams, but does experience memories.
