    Jeanne des Anges (1602 - 1665), whose original name was Jeanne de Belcier, was a French Ursuline nun. She is most well known for accusing Father Urbain Grandier during the Loudon Possessions of witchcraft and sorcery. Many controversies and theories have been made over the years speculating her prime motivation for the event, and most agree that her accusations were false and politically as well as possibly sexually motivated.
