The first thing that comes to mind is that we can help people in their relationships with us. If we find out that we belong to the same type as our partner, we can begin to understand them better and help them know how to relate to us.
We can also learn something new about ourselves and our relationships. If we find out that we are very much like our partner, this gives us the opportunity to clarify our own thoughts. What do we like? What do we not like? What do we want to change? What do we need to change?
When we find out that we are very different from our partner, this can be a difficult thing.
