Chris Florette personality type is INFJ, and I’m comfortable admitting that. He may be a hero to others, but he struggled with his own feelings of worthlessness and guilt, and it was only because of the support of his friends that he found the strength to keep going.
I was the same way, and then I read a book called “The Five Love Languages” by Gary Chapman. The concept is simple: we each have a primary love language, which is the emotional way we want to express love to others – for example, for my love language, it’s words of affirmation. I’m an INFJ, and my primary love language is words of affirmation.
I knew what I had to say to my friends to be able to make them feel loved, but it didn’t actually make me happy. My INFJ nature wants the deepest, most intimate connections with people we love, and those were the words that had the greatest effect on me.
It took a long time for me to realize this, and during that time, I sucked at making friends. People would tell me they liked me, but then they’d avoid me like I had a contagious disease.
