What is the personality type of Abstract impressionism? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Abstract impressionism from Visual Art Genres and what is the personality traits.
Abstract impressionism personality type is ISFP, and I'm an ISFP.
I've been in a relationship with an ISFP for the past two years and we have been pretty much constantly together (except for time apart due to school) and I've learned a lot through the relationship.
I'm not sure if it'd be a good idea to post this here, but I feel like it's more well-received here than anywhere else.
I'll start with some general stuff about ISFP that applies to me:
ISFPs are typically very idealistic. I think this is probably the most important thing to take from this. ISFPs tend to see the world as beautiful and great and full of meaning, and they want to improve the world in small ways. They often have a strong sense of social justice and they tend to treat everyone with respect and kindness. Many ISFPs have a strong sense of loyalty to their friends/family and they'd rather not be in a relationship if it's not going well. If they find someone they like, they'll try to make it work and work on it with their partner. ISFPs tend to be very sweet.
Abstract Impressionism is an art movement that originated in New York City, in the 1940s. It involves the painting of a subject such as real-life scenes, objects, or people (portraits) in an Impressionist-style, but with an emphasis on varying measures of abstraction. The paintings are often painted en plein air, an artistic style involving painting outside with the landscape directly in front of the artist. The movement works delicately between the lines of pure abstraction (the extent of which varies greatly) and the allowance of an impression of reality in the painting.
