In an informal discussion with a friend, I described my type as a "logical thinker with a dose of imagination".
I described my personality as logical (because I'm a rationalist), imaginative (because I'm a dreamer) and extrovert (because I'm an extrovert).
This was meant to illustrate two of the personality traits that most people associate with the ENTP personality type - rationalism (the rational component of logic) and extroversion (the extroverted component of imagination).
ENTPs are logical, imaginative and are also very extroverted.
But what does all that have to do with the ENTP personality type? Why do I describe myself as "logical" and "extroverted" rather than "introverted" and "extroverted"?
I was trying to describe two distinct traits that are often confused with each other. It's like saying you're a "logical thinker with a dose of imagination".
