I’m not a fan of this type. I find ISTPs to be super-duper hyper-energetic and just plain annoying. They are the type that can put on a huge act. They are the type that gives you the perfect smile “for the picture” and makes you think that they are just so nice. They are the type that has the perfect answer to everything. They are the type that is overly confident and doesn’t know when to stop talking. They have a lot of energy and can be very exhausting because of all of their talking. They are usually pretty smart and funny and they can get things done really well. But, they can also go off the rails if they are not in the right mood and then they can get mean or bossy. I’m not sure if this is the personality type or if it’s just a personality trait that all ISTPs have, but I just don’t find them all that attractive or fun to be around.
I am often reminded of the movie “I Love You, Beth Cooper”.
