Marius Bear personality type is ISFJ, and I’m not an ISFJ.
But I’ve been working with a lot of them lately, and these people have some of the most awful self-destructive behavior, some of the most crippling perfectionism, and some of the most crippling self-deprecation I’ve ever seen. These folks do not think they’re bad. They think they’re excellent.
They’re wrong. They’re horrible. And they don’t know it.
I want to be clear, here: This isn’t a problem with the ISFJ personality type. (That’s not my problem.) The problem is me, as a human being, who has been reading too much into too many ISFJ blogs, innerself.com articles, and other “official” internet sources, and then projecting my own personality on their behavior.
So let me explain, in detail, why I’m wrong.
