Nick "Big Nick" O'Brien personality type is ENTP, so I don't know if I should be surprised to learn that they are a bit anal-retentive. I haven't read the book, but it sounds like there was some trouble with the editing, which is probably why he's been so quiet.
Also, I'm not sure what type of schedule he is keeping, but if it's anything like mine, it would be hard to get any real work done between his constant pattern of taking long breaks for a nap.
I think I'm starting to see a pattern that would explain this. The book reminds me of a certain type of ENTP who spent a good portion of his career being annoyed by people who were overstimulated and distracted by the goings-on in the workplace. People asking stupid questions, and getting things wrong, and generally not being able to pay attention for more than ten seconds at a time, because they are too focused on the many things happening in their lives that they can't possibly attend to the one thing they are supposed to be doing.
I think this might be what Nick was complaining about, because there's a lot of that in the book.
