Note personality type is ESFP, I will be using a definition that I developed as part of my training in cognitive-behavioral therapy. ESFP is a type of Extraverted Sensing Feeling Perceiving, where the dominant function is Extraverted Feeling. The ESFP - Extraverted Feeling is a warm, affectionate, and sensitive type that is highly relational with people and has a strong desire to be liked by others. It is very important for ESFPs to feel understood and accepted. It is their most important function and the one that they use to relate to others in a positive manner. They are more sensitive to the feelings and attitudes of others and believe that their interpretation of the situation is the most accurate.
ESFPs are often described as being very creative, fun-loving people who are very adaptable and easygoing. They are often described as being self-deprecating and down-to-earth. People with this personality type tend to take on the characteristics of their environment. The ESFP persona that they assume is very much the same as the ESFP personality type, but it will be slightly different because of the extraverted Feeling trait that they possess.
