Ro personality type is ENTP, the Perceiving-Thinking-Perceiving type. They are the “novelists” of the personality type world, the thinkers and dreamers and inventors. They are the most open-minded of the four types. They don’t impose their views on others. They are the most likely to give up their principles to get along with others.
The function of the Thinking function is to provide a rational, reasonable frame of reference for other functions, since each function is based on the interpretation of data via one of the senses. The Thinking function is the least concrete and the most abstract of all the functions.
The dominant function of ENTPs is Extraverted Intuition, or Ne. Ne is used to make sense out of the world. It is used to understand other people or ideas. The best way I can describe it is in terms of a game of chess where you move pieces to capture your opponent’s pieces and control their movements.
Ne is a very abstract function, it is not even really a function at all, but a process that generates ideas.
