Jaiden personality type is ISFP, and I want Jaiden to be able to express his feelings and express how he feels about things. I will not let this character be gay.
I'm not sure if it was because I didn't give him enough sex in the first place, or because he was too young and hormonal, or because he was abused by my other characters, but he's never had a relationship with a guy. I'm not trying to write gay characters; I'm just trying to write a character that is open to the possibility of being gay, but since I was never able to do it, he's going to stay straight.
I want him to be a couple with another character, but that character is another girl. My only problem with a girl is that she's the love interest and she's the female protagonist, and I usually don't like that. I want the main character to be a guy, and I want Jaiden to have a crush on him.
I know it will be difficult to write it, but I have no problem with that. However, it has to be done subtly or else I might end up with a gay character.
Here's what it would look like.
Jaiden is a 12 year old kid who is actually very sensitive despite her looks. She lives with her 16 year old sister who doesn't like being around Jaiden and focuses on herself. Jaiden is a quiet person and relies mainly on her heart to make decisions, when she's out talking with other kids she normally will come across as laid back but also intimidating. She is quite lazy...if she's not outside she's normally in bed ignoring the phone calls she gets. Jaiden hates authority and is VERY stubborn, sometimes this can cause problem across her and her sister and Jaiden will end up getting mad with her sister who is very controlling. While being perceived somewhat blunt she is a very creative person who has a whole book of drawings reflecting her personality.
