Currently I’m working on a story with an ESFJ main character. I’ve had a few people ask me for my take on this type. I’ve only experienced it in fiction, but I thought I’d share my thoughts on why it’s so common.
First, I want to say that I am certainly not better than anyone else. I’m just sharing my observations based on my personal experiences. It’s important to remember that everyone is different, and some people will find their characters naturally fit into one type while others will feel they need to avoid certain types, or try to fit into more than one.
I’m also not trying to offer any type-specific advice on how to write these characters.
