Yu personality type is ESFP, but I also have a strong INFJ side, too. I have learned that these are just two different sides of myself, and that they are both equally important for my well-being. I have learned that people who are uncomfortable with my INFJ side are often afraid of being "moved" by me, even if they don't know it. They are afraid of being moved emotionally, because they have grown so used to being moved intellectually. They are afraid of being moved to their core. They are afraid of being made vulnerable. They are afraid of being changed into something that they would rather not be.
But what about the people who are not afraid of emotional vulnerability? What about the people who are not afraid of change? What about the people who are not afraid of the "core"? What about them?
I think they can be found. They can be taught. I think they can change the world.
Sometimes it's helpful to think of these two components of myself as two different people -- two different sides of the same person. But I prefer to think of them as different people because it helps me to understand my own desires for change.
