StrengthsFinder 2.0 is another great book for ISTJs. It does not have as much depth as the previous books, but it has more practical information in it. It is more of a quick read, but your ISTJ will enjoy it just as much as the other MBTI books.
This is also an older version of StrengthsFinder, so it is not as advanced as the StrengthsFinder 3.0. However, if your ISTJ wants a quick read that they can just pick up and read, then this is a great book to get them started.
