Bou personality type is ESFP, and I have a hard time believing that he would have any interest in writing about the world of psychology.
In your book, you don't seem to think that there is a difference between male and female types. Why did you draw this line?
I don't think there is a difference. I think that there are differences in the way that men and women use the same type, but there are not as many differences as people think. The reason I don't think there is a difference is because the four functions—thinking, feeling, sensation, and intuition—that make up the "Big Five" dimensions of personality, which are all heritable, are all expressed in males and females in the same way.
So you're saying that we are all identical in our Big Five traits?
Yes. It's just that we express them differently. The only thing that makes us different are our bodies, our hairstyles, our clothes, and maybe our choice of music. There isn't anything else that makes us different.
Why do you think people want to label themselves with different types? Are people just looking for ways to categorize themselves?
