Kelsey Clover "The Lucky Kitten" (or Kel, for short) is a 13-year-old girl who wishes to become a music producer. Kel seemingly started to developed depression, after her dream was shut down by her teacher, classmate, and even her parents. Her grandfather's passing was a snapping point for her because he's the only one who believes in her. Now, alone and hopeless, she attempted to drown herself.
Either in a near-death experience, a very lucid dream, or in the border between life and death, she meets three mysterious yet comforting characters in a form of a ghost - George "The Lovable Hummingbird", Brenda "The Hopeful Rabbit", and Dave "The Faithful Wolf". She was petrified at their presence at first. She soon comes to realize that they meant no harm. They each gave her a lesson and Kel keeps their advice in her heart when she continues her life she nearly lost.
