Atsushi Yokoyama personality type is INTJ, which makes sense because we’re talking about a character who spends the majority of the show in his room. It’s basically a show about the life of a boy who plays video games, reads manga, and is pretty much a loner. It’s a boy’s show, and boy’s shows don’t usually have a lot of girl characters. I mean, we had Saki, but she’s not really a girl. That’s why I’m not surprised that this show doesn’t have any girl characters.
Now, I don’t think this is a bad thing. The truth is that a lot of shows are boy’s shows, and they usually don’t have any girl characters. But just because the main character of a show is a boy doesn’t mean that the show has to be 100% boy’s representation, and I think that Yokoyama could stand to learn from this show. He could learn from a show like GATE, which does have a lot of girl characters. He could learn from Tenchi Muyo! which does have a lot of girl characters.
