A few years ago, when we first started talking about Myers-Briggs, I think I was still in that whole “I don’t do it anymore and I don’t know why” phase. So I dismissed it as something I no longer practiced. However, we had a very good relationship now and she insisted on doing a Myers-Briggs assessment. She decided to take the Myers-Briggs test at the same time I did. It became clear that we had many of the same personality traits. We both are very visual and would prefer to watch things rather than read about them. We both are very empathetic and prefer to work with people over machines. We both enjoy working alone, but we can work well together when we get to know each other. We both love to ask questions. We were able to look at our differences as well. She is very extroverted and energetic, while I am more introverted and reserved.
