He is calm and mature, and is usually seen leading his class through activities or taking care of Otae. He is generally seen in a good mood, and is rather helpful when it comes to Otae. He is shown to be very supportive of Otae, helping her break into the idol world and supporting her whenever she needs it. He is an amazing father, supporting Otae's decisions and being there to help her out when she needs it.A classmate of Saeki-kun's who constantly makes fun of her crush on him, also known as "Ri-chan" (also known as "God-chan" because of his calm demeanor). He is seen as the typical tsundere, but he isn't as bad as he appears. It's revealed that Ri-chan actually cares for Saeki-kun despite his teasing, and the two are able to maintain a somewhat healthy relationship despite difficulties. Ri-chan is often seen with Saeki-kun during school hours, and he's always seen with him in the anime.
Usami (ウサミ) is a rabbit magical girl who features as the mascot character of Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, appearing in the game as the lead teacher of the school trip.
