During the S4 premiere, we saw the first reference to Rachel being an INFP, when she told Ben that she is "not a dreamer" and more of a "realist". This was a solid hint to the type of personality we are going to see throughout the series, but it wasn't until nearly halfway through the season that we actually got to see the exact traits that define this type.
In episode 7, "The One With All The Kissing", Rachel and Ross had a pretty intense conversation, where they discussed their feelings towards one another. Ross had always been nervous around Rachel, as she was always so open and honest with him, but this time he was concerned that his feelings for her would get in the way of their friendship.
