What is the personality type of David Belle? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for David Belle from Other Talented Individuals and what is the personality traits.
David Belle personality type is ISTP, so he's no more of a brooding, melancholy character than any other ISTP.
As for the "brooding" and "melancholy" part, I just find that kind of characterwriting to be entirely inaccurate. Given your description of him, I would think it would be more accurate to say he's a "quiet" and "serious" guy, as in:
He is a quiet, serious, rather serious man.
If you want to describe him as brooding and melancholy, that's okay. But there's nothing even remotely inaccurate about that characterization of him.
In any case, the reason I'm bringing this up is because the ISTP is pretty much universally misunderstood, even by those who are best qualified to write about the subject.
And that's why I was so disappointed to see an article in The Guardian, which I'd assume is supposed to be a reputable source for anything, saying that ISTP's are "more likely to be gloomy". (The Guardian article is actually about the MBTI types in various professions, but it still applies to the ISTP.)
